Our agency would love to donate $10 on YOUR behalf to support parents, their children and individuals who suffer the effects of poverty in our community. The Grover Agency has joined FACETS in their mission to help reduce the effects of poverty and end homelessness in the Fairfax community since 1988.
With the help of their experienced, multi-disciplinary staff and more than 3,000 volunteers, this wonderful organization is able to help these members of our community through educational, life skills and career counseling programs. In addition, they also help meet the individual’s shelter, food and medical needs without regard to their beliefs, backgrounds or conditions. Through their Community Centers they are working to impact intergenerational poverty, with educational programs for toddlers through College acceptance, and ESL, Job Readiness, Case Management and Financial Literacy programs for adults. The Next Steps Family offers eviction prevention programs for families and apartments to shelter families who are homeless.
These are just some of the programs offered by FACETS, amongst many others. Join us as we support them in opening the doors for people in need.
